Spinning technology
There are two ways to solve the problem of yarn strength. One method is to use more advanced spinning technology to spin yarns suitable for easy care fabrics, such as compact ring spinning technology, without changing the raw materials.
The second method is to adjust the raw materials and change the yarn structure. Through the combination of the original natural fiber and the fiber with good performance and easy care requirements through certain spinning methods, the yarn with ideal effect is obtained, mainly including blended yarn and composite yarn, which are respectively introduced in the following.
1. Blended yarn
The blended spinning of two or more kinds of fibers mainly adopts the way of bulk fiber mixing and sliver blending. Through the original fiber raw materials and other fibers with high strength and high modulus to increase the strength of the whole yarn. This kind of composite yarn includes traditional polyester / cotton, polyester / viscose, polyester / wool, etc., as well as polyester / cotton / Tencel fiber, polyester / cotton / cashmere, etc.

2. Composite yarn
The two kinds of fibers are intertwined with single yarn or filament, similar to ply structure, which can be spun on reformed spinning frame or on hollow spindle. There are mainly siro spinning, sirofil spinning, wrapping spinning, core spinning and so on.

Classification by yarn material
Pure spinning
Pure spinning is made of a kind of fiber material, such as cotton yarn, wool yarn, hemp yarn and silk yarn. This kind of yarn is suitable for making pure textiles.
Blended yarn
Blended yarn is made of two or more kinds of fibers, such as polyester and cotton blended yarn, wool and viscose blended yarn. These yarns are used in fabrics that highlight the advantages of both fibers.
Classification by yarn thickness
Coarse tex yarn
Coarse tex yarn refers to yarn of 32 tex and above (18 British count and below). This kind of yarn is suitable for thick and thick fabrics, such as tweed and plain cloth.
Medium tex yarn
Medium tex yarn refers to 21-32 t (19-28 British count) yarn. This kind of yarn is suitable for medium and heavy fabrics, such as medium plain cloth, gabardine, khaki, etc.
Fine tex yarn
Fine tex yarn refers to 11-20 t (29-54 British count) yarn. This kind of yarn is suitable for thin and thin fabrics, such as fine cloth, poplin, etc.

Worsted yarn
Worsted yarn, also known as combed yarn, refers to the yarn spun by combing process, including combed cotton yarn and combed wool yarn. The fiber in the yarn has high parallel straightness, evenness and smoothness, but the cost is high and the yarn count is high. Combed yarn is mainly used as raw materials for advanced fabrics and knitwear, such as spinning, gabardine, tweed, cardigan, etc.
Roving yarn
Roving yarn, also known as carding wool yarn or carding cotton yarn, refers to the yarn combed according to the general spinning system and spun without combing process. There are many short fibers in roving yarn, such as poor parallelism and straightness, loose structure, more hairiness, low count and poor quality. This kind of yarn is mostly used as raw materials for general fabrics and knitwear, such as woolen fabrics, medium and extra high cotton fabrics, etc.
Waste spinning
Waste spinning refers to the yarn made from textile waste (waste cotton) or mixed with low-grade raw materials. Yarn is poor in quality, soft, uneven in evenness, containing many impurities and poor color. It is generally used to weave low-grade fabrics such as coarse cotton blanket, thick pile cloth and packing cloth.
