Fancy yarn refers to the yarn with special structure and appearance effect produced by processing fibers or yarns with special raw materials, special equipment or special technology in the process of spinning and yarn making.

Fancy yarns is a kind of yarn with decorative function in yarn products. 

Almost all natural fibers and common chemical fibers can be used as raw materials for fancy yarns. Classification of fancy yarns

The structure of fancy yarn is composed of core yarn, decorative yarn and fixed yarn. Core yarn bears strength and is the main yarn; decorative yarn is wrapped in twist to form effect on core yarn; fixed yarn is wrapped in opposite twist direction around decorative yarn to fix pattern, but there are also situations without fixing yarn. 1. Knotted yarn is twisted and wound repeatedly in the same place.

2. Helix is made of two yarns of different fineness, twist and type.

3. The thick and soft fibers of slub yarn are attached to the core yarn and wrapped with fixed yarn.

4. The loop thread forms a closed loop and is wrapped with fixed yarn.

5. The coiled yarn is spirally wound on the core, but throws out the coiled yarn at intervals.

6. Chenille yarn is transversely trimmed with core yarn. The end of the ornamental yarn is loose and fluffy.

7. Diamond wire is wrapped around metal core wire (made of aluminium foil or sprayed metal material coated with transparent protective film) in another color. Fine decorative thread and fixed thread have diamond pattern effect.
