Characteristics of polyester embroidery thread

Strength: The strength of polyester embroidery thread is nearly twice as high as that of cotton embroidery thread and three times higher than that of wool embroidery thread. Therefore, the embroidery thread of polyester fabric is strong and durable.

Heat resistance: It can be used in 70-1700C. It is the best heat resistance and thermal stability of synthetic fibers.

Embroidery thread elasticity: Polyester elasticity close to wool, wrinkle resistance than other fibers, fabric wrinkle-free, good line-keeping.

Wear resistance: The wear resistance of polyester fibers is second only to that of nylon fibers, ranking second in synthetic fibers.

Hygroscopicity: Polyester has low moisture regain and good insulation.

Application of polyester embroidery thread

Polyester embroidery thread is used as clothing fiber. Its fabric can be washed without wrinkle and ironing. Polyester is often blended or interwoven with various fibers, such as cotton polyester, wool polyester, etc., and is widely used in various clothing and decorative materials. Polyester can be used in industry for conveyor belts, tents, canvas, cables, fishing nets and so on. 

Embroidery thread, especially polyester cord used for tires, has approached nylon in performance. 

Polyester embroidery thread can also be used for electrical insulation materials, acid-resistant filter cloth, pharmaceutical industrial cloth, etc. Synthetic fibers are widely used in various fields of national economy because of their high strength, wear resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, high temperature resistance, light weight, heat preservation, good electrical insulation and no fear of mildew.

Silk embroidery thread for imitated nylon ribbon (ribbon made of imitated nylon ribbon special silk feels like nylon after ironing, shine and nylon), automobile cushion silk, high strength silk, flame retardant fiber. It can be done from 15d to 1000d. It is made of masterbatch with good color fastness, environmental protection and reasonable price. Monofilament: 20d, 25d, 30d, 40d. The specifications of polyester polyfilament are 75d, 100d, 120d, 150D and 300d. The specifications of imitated nylon yarn are 150d, 210d, 300d, 420d, 450D and 600d.
