According to the latest data, German clothing imports increased by 13.4% in September compared with the same period last year; French clothing imports increased by 14.8% and only increased by 0.5% in October. Spanish imports did not return to positive growth until September, while the Japanese market remained sluggish in October.
US clothing imports fell 9.6% in September and 3% in October compared with a year earlier, while they rose 7.9% in October.
Affected by the second outbreak of Xinguan epidemic, the rebound of clothing import in autumn may end, causing a new round of order cancellation in low-income countries. From the performance of some countries, knitted clothing imports are more affected by the new epidemic than woven clothing.
