One is to create a "15 minute convenient life circle". There are many convenience stores in China, but the level is not high in general. There are only 130000 chain convenience stores in China, but the number is still far from enough to meet the needs of people's life. Next, we should focus on optimizing the layout and promoting the chain development of convenience stores. There are also vegetable markets. There are many large and small vegetable farms in the community, but the overall level is not high. The next step is to promote the standardization of the vegetable market, improve the environment, enrich the varieties and improve the quality.
Second, promote the transformation and upgrading of pedestrian streets. Pedestrian street has a great impact on the consumption of the city, and it is also very demonstrative. At the end of 2018, the Ministry of Commerce launched 11 pilot projects to upgrade the pedestrian streets nationwide, and achieved good results. Last year, the total passenger flow of 11 pedestrian streets exceeded 900 million, an increase of 22.6%, and the operating revenue reached 125 billion yuan, an increase of 17%. The catering industry accounts for 11% of the total retail sales of consumer goods in China, attracting 21 million jobs. The other focus is the development of domestic service industry. Domestic service is connected with rural areas and towns at one end. Domestic service resources in China are very rich. There are a large number of labor force in rural areas and a large number of demand in cities. Last year, the income of domestic service industry in China exceeded 690 billion yuan. Next, we should continue to do this work well. The Ministry of Commerce has set up a domestic service credit platform, which aims to standardize the business behavior of domestic enterprises, better protect the rights and interests of domestic workers, and better serve urban families.
